Measure K Study Session

Asked the board to designate Cypress Point Housing in Moss Beach as 55-and-older housing to protect elderly residents during heat waves and housing crunches.

Speaking on behalf of Thrive, urged the board to extend all current nonprofit Measure K contracts through the third year and use reserves to stabilize service providers.

Expressed appreciation for Measure K investments on behalf of Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and asked for continued support for food assistance programs.

Speaking for Puente, requested that the county continue current nonprofit contracts through the full three-year term and support organizations facing increased economic pressures.

Representing Coast Pride, thanked the board for Measure K support and urged continued funding for outreach and services addressing youth isolation on the coast.
